DFS2299A OPEN MNPS ACB WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL REG15=xx ACBERFLG=yyy, REPLY RETRY OR CANCEL
Explanation
After three attempts and still failing to open
the MNPS ACB during an MNPS XRF takeover, the alternate IMS system
will issue the WTOR and await a reply from the operator. xx is
the OPEN return code in register 15, and yyy is
the ACB error field returned by VTAM®.
These values are displayed as a decimal number. With a reply of RETRY,
the alternate IMS will attempt another three times, if necessary,
to open the ACB. With a reply of CANCEL, the alternate
system will stop attempting to open the ACB and resume the takeover
process. Any reply other than RETRY or CANCEL is invalid, and the
WTOR will be re-issued.
System action
IMS waits for a reply from the operator.
Operator response
Correct the problem and reply to the WTOR.
