Explanation

The field label is used to reflect the position of a SEG or PASSWORD statement, as externally submitted to the MFS Language utility, or internally generated by the MFS Language utility (SEG statement). label is an externally defined name on the statement. If label is omitted, it is an internal name generated by the preprocessor. It is used to uniquely define the statement for possible error message reference.
