Dynamic backout in batch

In a batch environment, when the SLDS is on DASD, you can request that IMS perform dynamic backout if IMS pseudoabends or if the application program issues a ROLB call by specifying BKO=Y in the JCL.

In this case, IMS performs backout to the last program sync point. Abend U0828 does not occur in batch if you specify BKO=Y.
