FMTO= parameter for procedures
You can use the FMTO= parameter in procedure when you want to specify the type of dump output to be produced.
FMTO options
You can use the following codes as the values for the FMTO parameter. The values and their effect
on the dumps produced are summarized in the following table:
Parameter value | Effect on dump produced |
---|---|
TE | Terminating error. Error will terminate IMS. |
NT | Non-terminating error. Error will not terminate IMS. |
FDDL | Formatted dump delete list processing. |
Y | Yes, the dump will be produced. |
S | Yes, the dump will be produced only if the SDUMP fails. |
N | No, the dump will not be produced. |
— | Not applicable, or not attempted to produce a dump. |
