Creating Fast Path databases

Creating a Fast Path database applies to DEDBs only. MSDBs are not supported by the IMS DDL interface. When defining a new DEDB database, use the CREATE DATABASE statement while also specifying the ACCESS DEDB clause. You can also use the LIKE keyword to generate a database description using attributes of an existing DEDB resource.
