Authorizing transactions in a TM network

During transaction authorization, RACF® checks to ensure that the terminal user is authorized to enter the transaction.

Using RACF to secure transactions
To control which users can issue which transactions, define the controlled transactions to RACF as TIMS class, and grant authorization to RACF-defined users or groups of users.
Using the Transaction Authorization exit routine (DFSCTRN0)
You can use the Transaction Authorization exit routine (DFSCTRN0) to check the validity of a transaction that is entered by a user who signed on using the /SIGN command.
