VALCK= parameter for procedures
Use the VALCK= parameter in procedures to specify the validity-check option. Valid values are 0 and 1. The default is 0.
You can set the VALCK= parameter using the DFSOPT DD statement in IMS-supplied procedures. The syntax for the VALCK= parameter is:
VALCK=0|1 (The default
is 0.)

An address is invalid if it is either lower than the lowest address not in the z/OS® nucleus or higher than the highest address in virtual storage.
