INIT commands
Use the
INIT
command to create various records in the RECON data set.
INIT.ADS command
Use the
INIT.ADS
command to create an entry in the RECON data set that defines an ADS (area data set) for an area. You can also use the command to define the data sets needed by the DEDB Alter utility. An area can include up to seven data sets and seven shadow data sets (for DEDB Alter).
INIT.CA command
Use the
INIT.CA
command to create a record in the RECON data set that identifies a change accumulation data set. This data set can be used by the Change Accumulation utility to process a CA group.
INIT.CAGRP command
Use the
INIT.CAGRP
command to specify the names of the DBDSs that will belong to a specified CA group.
INIT.DB command
Use the
INIT.DB
command to register a database with DBRC and specify various characteristics of the database.
INIT.DBDS command
Use the
INIT.DBDS
command to register a DBDS or DEDB area.
INIT.DBDSGRP command
Use the
INIT.DBDSGRP
command to define a DBDS group (DBDSs or DEDB areas), a DB group (DL/I databases or DEDB areas), or a recovery group (DL/I databases or DEDB areas).
INIT.IC command
Use an
INIT.IC
command to create image copy records in the RECON data set. These image copy records define image copy data sets that are available for use during subsequent runs of the supported image copy utilities.
INIT.PART command
Use the
INIT.PART
command to register a HALDB partition.
INIT.RECON command
Use the
INIT.RECON
command to initialize the RECON data set for use by DBRC.
