SSL and IMS Connect
To set up Secure Socket Layer (SSL) on TCP/IP connections to IMS Connect, use IBM z/OS Communications Server Application Transparent Transport Layer Security (AT-TLS).
When AT-TLS is used, it decrypts the incoming messages in z/OS before sending them to IMS Connect on a TCP/IP port and encrypts the outgoing messages before sending them to an IMS Connect client. IMS Connect is unaware of whether AT-TLS or SSL is used. For more information, see Setting up AT-TLS SSL for IMS Connect.
