Preparing the system for XRF

You define IMS to be part of an XRF complex during the IMS system definition.

Do this by:

• Tailoring the IMS execution JCL
• Coding system definition macro statements to:
  • Establish XRF to be part of the generated system
  • Specify the VTAM® application names and passwords
  • Define the IMS master terminal and secondary terminals
  • Customize individual terminals
  • Optionally declare priorities that affect the order in which terminals and MSC links are made available
• Using IMS.PROCLIB members to initialize system data sets
