Preserving the IMS OLDS and SLDS

The IMS OLDS and SLDS should be saved in case IMS log analysis is required.

  • The ideal time frame:
    • From the time of the last IMS restart
    • Prior execution
  • The moderate time frame:
    • 24 hours of IMS log records
  • The minimum time frame:
    • Active IMS OLDS
