Migrating from IMS Tools Base 1.6 to IMS Tools Base 1.7

If you have used IMS Tools Base 1.6, you need to migrate to IMS Tools Base 1.7 by using the IMS Tools Setup function and sample JCL provided in hlq.SHKTSAMP library file.

Depending on the environment in which IMS Tools Base 1.6 has been used, two migration methods are provided:

• Method A - Migration that requires repository conversion
• Method B - Migration that requires repository version setting
