FRD3300E RECOVERY ABORTED: reason

Explanation

While running, the IMS Database Recovery Facility job encountered an unrecoverable condition. reason is one of the following:
CURRENT HPIC MAINTENCE LEVEL DOES NOT SUPPORT GROUP SYMBOLIC IN IC DSN TEMPLATES
“&GROUP” was specified in the IC DSN or DSN2 template to include the CA Group in the output image copy data set name, but the IMS HP Image Copy maintenance level is not sufficient to support the feature.
CURRENT xxxx MAINTENCE LEVEL DOES NOT SUPPORT ICNOTIFY(DRF)
The ICNOTIFY(DRF) parameter was specified, but the IMS HP Image Copy or DBRC maintenance level is not sufficient to support this IMS Database Recovery Facility feature.
xxxx identifies either IMS HP Image Copy or DBRC.

System action

The IMS Database Recovery Facility job abnormally terminates producing a U0384-00000035 SVC dump.

User response

Apply the latest IMS HP Image Copy or DBRC maintenance, or remove the "&GROUP" and/or ICNOTIFY(DRF) from the IMS Database Recovery Facility job.
