Enabling IMS Recovery Expert in online and batch IMS environments

IMS Recovery Expert must be added to the IMS control regions for the IMS systems that will be defined to IMS Recovery Expert.

Overview
IMS Recovery Expert provides IMS Partner exit BSYPPUE0 (for DFSPPUE0) and IMS Logger exit BSYFLGX0 (for DFSFLGX0). BSYPPUE0 must be registered to IMS, but BSYFLGX0 is optional. BSYPPUE0 can be registered with either IMS Tools Generic exit or IMS Refreshable exit. BSYFLGX0 can be registered with IMS Tools Generic exit.
Configuring IMS Tools Generic exit
BSYPPUE0 and BSYFLGX0 are implemented based on IMS Tools Generic Partner Exit interface and Generic Logger Exit interface.
Configuring IMS Refreshable exit
BSYPPUE0 can be registered as IMS Refreshable exit.
Making the IMS Recovery Expert load library available
You must also make additional IMS Recovery Expert modules available to the IMS control region and DL/I batch jobs.
