Provide APPC/OTMA information in the ISPF panels to help you understand the settings for APPC and OTMA messages. The Messages Prefixes and Text Segments panel (IQCP13) is enhanced to show the following APPC/OTMA information:
  • Commit mode of OTMA messages
  • Conversation type of APPC messages
  • Synchronization level of APPC and OTMA messages
Support options to include or exclude the following message types for the BROWSE, LOAD, and UNLOAD functions:
  • Commit mode of OTMA messages (COMMITMODE keyword)
  • Conversation type of APPC messages (CONVTYPE keyword)
  • Synchronization level of APPC and OTMA messages (SYNCLEVEL keyword)

TSO client (ISPF interface) support for shared queues. You can use the ISPF interface to modify the queue space utilization notification parameters for shared queues. For instructions, see Using the TSO client (ISPF user interface).

Changes to the IMS Environment panel. This panel is modified to show the following information:

  • The version number of the IMS subsystem in vv.r.m format.
  • The APAR level of the QCF component.
