Tuning a randomizer

This topic discusses how to fit as many root segments as possible in the home block when you find out that the randomizing process is not functioning well.

If, in an HDAM database, there are many root segments that do not fit in the home block (the home block is the block the root segment must be placed in, based on the randomizing routine), the randomizing parameters might not be functioning well.

Whether the randomizing process is functioning well or not can be checked by the steps in Example to assess the effectiveness of the randomizing module.
