Applying changes to an IMS system

Using IMS Enterprise Suite Explorer for Development, you can export your new or changed definitions for databases (DBDs) or program views (PSBs) to a PDS file on z/OS. Alternatively, for changes to DBDs, if your IMS system supports DDL, you can submit your DBD changes as DDL statements directly to IMS for potential immediate activation in the online IMS system. Submitting PSB definitions as DDL statements is not supported.
