Virtual MDM configuration roadmap

Use this list as a guideline to verify that you have complete each step of the implementation process.

These steps outline the high-level implementation process for configuring and deploying a Virtual MDM implementation. Items 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11 are performed using InfoSphere® MDM Workbench.

1. Review customer requirements.
2. Define and manage configuration settings (see Configuration editor).
3. Configure the algorithm (see Algorithms).
4. Deploy the configuration (see Managing configuration projects or Jobs and job sets).
5. Obtain the data extract.
6. Clean the data extract.
7. Derive the data (see Jobs and job sets).
8. Generate weights (see Weight generation).
9. Perform the bulk cross match (see Jobs and job sets).
10. Analyze and review.
11. Reconfigure the algorithm and repeat remaining steps as needed.
