madentload utility
The madentload utility loads the entity tables from .unl files.
This example shows command syntax that can be used to
load specific entity tables for an entity type of identity (ID). This
example uses the
-onepass
option, which means that
any existing data in the tables is dropped before the data is reloaded. madentload -entype ID -unlDir $MAD_WORKDIR/unl_ent -tablist mpi_entlink_id mpi_entrule_id -onepass
This
example shows the command syntax that is used to process an initial
entity data load.
madentload -entype ID -unlDir $MAD_WORKDIR/unl_ent -tablist ALL -onepass
The -onepass
option
is used in the examples because the option incorporates the functionality
of the -truncate
, -loaddata
, and -index
options.
To load member tables, use the madhubload utility.
Before you run a utility, make sure that the necessary operational server environment variables are set. For information about the variables, see the operational server environment variables topic.
