Deleting a task status

Use caution when deleting task statuses. After the project is saved, the deletion cannot be restored by the use of Ctrl+Z or Edit > Undo. If the possibility exists that you might use a task status at a later date, mark it with an Inactive status rather than deleting.

About this task

Attention: Unexamined, Resolved, Deferred, OB-Sent, and OB-Reject statuses must be present for the operational server processes to operate correctly.

Task statuses are managed in InfoSphere® MDM Workbench Configuration perspective.


  1. In the View list, select Expert.
  2. In the configuration editor, select Tasks.
  3. In the Task Status area, highlight the status you want to delete.
  4. Click Remove.
