Big Match Known Issues/Limitations

Big Match includes the following known issues.

Certain Big Match processes rely on the oozie-site.xml file. Since Cloudera does not write the oozie-site.xml file to a common location (the file is written into the oozie process directory each time it is started) it is not reliably accessible to Big Match processes. As such, the Big Match installation process grabs the oozie-site.xml file configuration from Cloudera Manager API as it exists at install time and writes it to the Big Match environment. If substantial changes are made to the oozie-site.xml file after Big Match installation, the updated oozie-site.xml should be manually distributed to all nodes in the cluster. It should be placed in the following directory:

$PARCEL_DIR/BIGMATCH/conf/hadoop/

After it is distributed, restart Big Match from the Cloudera Manager UI.
