Name standardization functions

Standardization functions are provided to handle formatting person and business names.

BXNM (standardization function)
This function is used for business name standardization with specialty codes, and formats a list of strings.
CHINESE (standardization function)
The CHINESE standardization function is intended to be used with Chinese person names written with Hanzi characters. It removes all non-hanzi characters from the data.
CJKSTD
Many organizations that store Chinese, Japanese, or Korean data find that organizational names are not linked because their ideograms contain “company” or “inc” designations.
CJKCXNM
This function standardizes company names that use ideographic characters (for example, Chinese, Japanese [Kanji], and Korean).
CXNM (standardization function)
Used for business name standardization, the CXNM function provides two different kinds of anonymous values: single-token and whole-value.
MXNM (multicultural name standardization function)
Use the MXNM name standardization function to handle person names from non-Latin languages where the characters might have multiple pronunciations. The standardization function removes all characters that are not in the predefined Unicode range.
PXNM (standardization function)
This function handles person name standardization.
RXNM (standardization function)
The RXNM standardization function is used to split and rewrite (name) tokens.
UCSFREQXNM
This function is used to format names with UTF format and is designed for use with the CXNM comparison function. UCSFREQ stands for universal character set standardization that is based on universal character frequency counts.
