Creating a Process Admin Console user

The first step in installing and configuring the Batch Activity Dashboard sample application is to create a user in the IBM® Process Admin Console.

About this task

All Business Process Manager applications are managed by the Process Admin Console and authorized based on the user.

To create a user in the Process Admin Console:

Procedure

  1. Open a browser and navigate to http://<host>:<port>/ProcessAdmin.
    Replace <host> and <port> with the specific host and port used by your installation of the Process Admin Console.
  2. At the login page, provide your administration user ID and password, then click Login.
  3. In the navigation pane of the Process Admin Console, select User Management > User Management.
  4. Under Internal IBM BPM User Details, type the user name, full name, and password for the new BPM user.
  5. Click Add to create the new user.
