Obtaining the current BIL Distribution Package

Before you can install and use the BIL assets, you must first obtain them from the distribution source.

The BIL Distribution Package is distributed as a compressed UNIX tar file (tarball), MDM1000_MDMIS_BIL_DIST.tar.gz, for installation on a host IBM® InfoSphere® Information Server system.

After obtaining the BIL assets, you will need to uncompress them and transfer the files from the BIL Distribution Package to the appropriate locations.
