Extension definitions

InfoSphere® MDM allows you to expand its existing functionality to meet the specific business requirements of your organization. You can expand the functionality ofInfoSphere MDM by creating extensions, which are sets of customized code that either extend data elements or extend the behavior of existing transactions.

In addition to coding the extension, you must also define the extension's properties within the extension framework before the extension can function. The Administration application allows you to provide the necessary parameters for configuring your extension within the framework.
