Member Duplicates

Use the Member Duplicates query to view error rates around duplicate members (member records from the same source that link to the same entity).

The first four columns show the raw data from the operational server database (broken down by source): number of members, number of entities, number of duplicate sets, and the number of members in those duplicate sets. The last 3 columns are the various error rates that can be calculated from those values.

  • Record Error Rate – Indicates how many records you have to look at to resolve your duplicates, or how many records have an incomplete view of a member.
  • Entity Duplication Rate – Indicates how many members have duplicate records, or the probability that a random member has a duplicate record.
  • Record Duplication Rate – Indicates how many records are duplicates, or perhaps the percentage of records that could be eliminated.
