You can use the unique message IDs of any of the messages
that are logged in your log files for troubleshooting and system analysis.
In either log file format, all messages include a unique message
ID that use CWXSSNNNNT as the ID naming convention.
The message IDs consists of four components, including:
- CW
- The component prefix that uniquely identifies IBM® InfoSphere® Master Data Management
Collaboration Server.
- XSS
- A message serial number that uniquely identifies the component
within InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server.
- NNNN
- A unique 4 digit numerical message ID.
- T
- The severity type, including:
- I for informational
- W for warning
- E for error or fatal

- CW identifies the message belongs to InfoSphere MDM Collaboration Server
- CNT specifies the message belongs to the content
authoring component
- 0001 specifies the message ID as 0001
- E specifies the message as an error or fatal
