The InfoSphere® MDM product
package includes a physical data model in the format used by IBM® InfoSphere Data Architect.
The InfoSphere Data
Architect data models, as well as PDF files containing data model
diagrams, are located in the file
MDM_INSTALL_HOME/database folder,
where
MDM_INSTALL_HOME is the base installation
folder for your
InfoSphere MDM instance.
Within the
database folder, you will find the
following subfolders:
- CoreData – contains the core physical MDM
data model.
- CoreData/diagrams – contains the diagrams
for the core data model.
- DataModel – contains the domain-specific
data model for physical MDM.
- DataModel/diagrams – contains the diagrams
for the domain-specific data model.
To view the InfoSphere Data
Architect data model, you must have a data project folder that you
will copy all of the InfoSphere Data
Architect files into. Start InfoSphere Data
Architect, refresh the project folder, and then the new files will
show up and ready for you to view.
