CloverETL Basics

CloverETL runs as a perspective in the Workbench application. In the CloverETL perspective, graphs are created in a form similar to a flow chart, with components for reading, transforming, and writing data. Components can be connected to outside data sources or repositories for reading and writing data. Components are connected by edges, which use structured metadata to manage the passage of data between readers, transformers, and writers.

The next sections describe how to open the CloverETL perspective, how to use components and edges to build and run CloverETL graphs, how to create Hub and database connections, how to manage metadata, and how to import sample graphs.
