Validation rules

Validation rules ensure that the data matches a format you specify with regular expressions. They can be imposed on the Code property for a reference value, and on string data types in a custom property. The syntax used is based on the Java™ regular expression syntax. InfoSphere® MDM Reference Data Management Hub matches only when the entire input string explicitly matches.
