Window location

This style assignment is different from Object Position, which refers to objects that are positioned within a window or window frame container.

The window position is such that the upper left corner of the screen is position “0,0.” The former coordinate controls the horizontal distance, and the latter coordinate controls the vertical distance.

You can specify a position coordinate numerically or by name. Numeric values are taken as pixel coordinates, and are absolute. By using a value name, you have the flexibility of adapting to changing screen sizes. The value names recognized take the overall screen size, and subtract the appropriate dimension of the configured window size. This effect looks as if the window was configured to fit to a specific location. Recognized names are not case-sensitive.

• Bottom of the screen: b, btm, bot, bottom, down, low
• Right side of the screen: r, rt, rgt, right
• Middle of the screen, according to height: m, mid, midpoint, middle
• Center of the screen, according to width: c, ctr, center, centered
