Stores is one of the secondary hierarchies for the Catalog
Entry Repository catalog. It represents the stores and their structures
in WebSphere® Commerce.
In this hierarchical structure, business users can define shared
catalog asset stores and direct sales stores.
- Catalog Asset Store
- A user can create a category in the Stores hierarchy and use it
as a parent of one or more direct stores.
- Direct Store
- A user can create one or more leaf nodes in the Store hierarchy.
The nodes can be first level categories or children of the Catalog
Asset Store nodes.
A store has an ID attribute, which is used for exporting
data to the store on the WebSphere Commerce
side.
