Installing IBM InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface on IBM InfoSphere Information Server, Version 8.1

To install the module with IBM® InfoSphere® Information Server, Version 8.1, you use a patch installation program.

Before you begin

For information about planning for installation, see the IBM InfoSphere Information Server Planning, Installation, and Configuration Guide.
Ensure that IBM InfoSphere Information Server, Version 8.1 and InfoSphere QualityStage® are installed.
Follow the requirements and preparation steps described in InfoSphere Information Server patch installation instructions.
You must be a suite administrator to install the module.

About this task

The installation packages for IBM InfoSphere QualityStage Address Verification Interface, Version 10 are the following files:

QSAVIv10_IS81_AIX.ispkg
QSAVIv10_IS81_Windows.ispkg

The installation program for the Windows operating system applies only to the client tier.

Procedure

Open the installation package for your operating system.
Follow the installation task steps documented in InfoSphere Information Server patch installation instructions to complete the module installation. The Update Installer supports two installation modes on all operating systems: installation wizard mode and console mode.
