Exceptions database sizing
The exceptions database is used by the Data Quality Exception Console.
The Exceptions stage runs on the engine to produce exception descriptors
that are stored in the exceptions database as a set of related rows
and tables. Each job run that generates an exception adds a record
to the descriptor table and creates a new table to hold the exception
details for that run. The database will grow as jobs are run. The
database content also shrinks when exceptions are deleted. The exceptions
database can be managed using the ESDBAdmin
tool.
In general, the size requirements are similar to that of the metadata
repository.
