Special Characters
The InfoSphere® DataStage® BASIC character set comprises alphabetic, numeric, and special characters. The alphabetic characters are the upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet. The numeric characters are the digits 0 through 9. The special characters are as follows. Most of the special characters are not permitted in a numeric constant or a variable name.
