Windows: using the graphical interface to install the module

You can use the graphical interface to install the client component and the server component of the product.

Before you begin

  • You must have administrative privileges to install the module.
  • For the client component, InfoSphere® DataStage® and QualityStage® Designer client must be installed on the computer.
  • For the server component, the engine layer of IBM® InfoSphere Information Server must be installed and running on the computer. IBM WebSphere® Application Server and the ASB agent also must be running when the server component is installed.

Procedure

  1. Browse to the setup file:
    Option Description
    On the product CD Change to the Windows folder.
    From the downloaded image Copy the compressed file to any location on the computer where you want to install the product. Extract the files.
  2. In the Windows folder of the product CD or the extracted files, double-click ISQSXsetup.exe.
  3. Follow the prompts to install the product. In the Product list, select CASS Client, CASS Server, or both.
