Solution kickoff meeting

All new EF partner configurations begin with an initial meeting, coordinated through the Enterprise Federation Specialist, which should include the following participants:

• Enterprise Federation (EF) Business Owner
• Enterprise Federation (EF) Technical Owner
• IBM Sponsor
• Enterprise Federation (EF) Specialist
• Any individuals who may be involved in establishing or operating the EF partner’s configuration.

The meeting should cover the following topics:

• Review of the IBMid Enterprise Federation architecture.
• Providing clarification of IBM EF policies as necessary.
• Review of the EF partner’s IdP configuration.
• Discussion of the proposed solution approach.
• Review of the email domains to be included in the configuration.
• Any special information (for example, freeze periods) IBM should be made aware of. (IBM will consider such information when scheduling updates but cannot commit to honoring any specific situation due to the large number of EF partners configured with IBMid.)
