Onboarding

The IBMid Enterprise Federation onboarding process is established in six phases.

  1. Solution kickoff meeting: An initial meeting coordinated through the EF Specialist, EF Business Owner, EF Technical Owner, IBM Sponsor and other individuals who may be involved in establishing or operating the EF partner’s configuration.

  2. IBM preproduction approvals: Following the Solution Kickoff Meeting, the EF Specialist will request internal pre-approval to proceed with implementing the solution in the IBMid Preproduction environment from IBMid Executive Management.

  3. IBMid preproduction enablement: Once the IBM Pre-Approvals (IBMid Preproduction) step is completed, the proposed solution may be deployed in IBMid Preproduction Integration and Testing as appropriate.

  4. IBM production approvals: Following the successfully testing in the IBMid Preproduction Integration and Testing step, the EF Specialist will request internal pre-approval to proceed with implementing the solution in the IBMid Production environment from IBMid Executive Management.

  5. IBMid production enablement: Once the IBM Pre-Approvals (IBMid Production) step is completed, the proposed solution may be deployed in IBMid Production Integration and Testing as appropriate.
