Stopping spill processing for a replication mapping
You stop spill processing for a replication mapping by using the batch command processor utility (CECBTCCP).
This utility provides both the PARK and ACTIVATE utility control statement to transition out of spill processing for a particular mapping.
- You choose the PARK utility control statement when you want to stop spill processing without applying the changes. The PARK utility control statement temporarily stops data capture for the replication mapping in the subscription, which stops spill processing.
- You choose the ACTIVATE utility control statement when you want to transition the replication mapping back to active. When the ACTIVATE utility control statement is used for a replication mapping that is currently in spill processing, the target continues to spill new changes while beginning to apply the earliest spilled changes to the target data store.
