for the target server:
|
VSAPCFGD | &APHLQ..CACCFGD | Name of the configuration data file for the target server. This value is prefixed with the VSAPHLQD high-level qualifier. |

VSAPPORT | 9087 | Port number that the target server connection handler service listens on. This listen port communicates with the Classic Data Architect to monitor and manage the target server. This value is used in the definition of the COMMSTRING configuration parameter of the connection handler for the target server. |
VSAPSUBS | &APHLQ..SUB | Data file name for target server subscriptions. This value is prefixed with the VSAPHLQD high-level qualifier. |
VSAPRMDS | &APHLQ..RM | Data file name for target server replication mapping. This value is prefixed with the VSAPHLQD high-level qualifier. |
VSAPLPRT | 5002 | Port that the apply service listens on to communicate with the capture service. This value is used in the definition of the LISTENURL configuration parameter of the apply service for the target server. |
VSAPCPRT | 5003 | Port specified when creating the z/OS® IP CICS® Socket Listener in the CICS system that the apply server uses. This value defines the CICSPORT configuration parameter of the apply service for the target server. |
VSUSSPFX | " " | Name of an optional prefix to the Data Replication for VSAM directory /usr/lpp/vsamrep/v11r1m00 that contains the USS definitions for the product. This prefix is specified during SMP/E installation. The maximum length allowed for the prefix value is 50 characters. |
VSAPCDPG | " " | Host code page of the system for the target server. This value defines the global HOSTCODEPAGE configuration parameter for the target server. |
VSANMICS | " " | Network management interface (NMI) communication string for the target server. Sets the NMICOMMSTRING configuration parameter for the monitoring service. |
VSCINHLQ | CICSTSnn.CICS | High-level qualifier (HLQ) assigned to the CICS libraries that are used to define the necessary resources to CICS. The value nn identifies the version of CICS Transaction Server (CICS TS). This HLQ is applied to the data sets in the STEPLIB sections of the generated JCL. This is the value substituted for the '&CICS..' symbolic parameter in the other installation parameters (such as VSAPSTPL). |
VSCSTEPL | &CICS..SDFHLOAD | Library concatenation, for example STEPLIB concatenation. You can specify this keyword multiple times. The order of the multiple VSAPSTPL keywords defines the order in which the files are included in the concatenation for the generated JCL members. |
VSCDFHCS | &CICS..DFHCSD | DFHCSD data set to use when defining the Classic federation programs and transactions to CICS. |
VSAPCBKD | CECBKMK | CICS (FCT) file name that contains the bookmark information. The file name cannot exceed 8 characters in length. The actual VSAM file name associated with this file will be comprised of the target server HLQ specified in VSAPHLQD, followed by this CICS file name. Using the default values, the file name is USER.V11R1M00.VSAMTRG.CECBKMK. This value defines the CICSBOOKMARKDB configuration parameter of the apply service for the target server. |
VSAPBKPL | CECBKPL | CICS LSR pool name associated with the bookmark file. The pool name cannot exceed 8 characters in length. |
VSAPPLNM | 9 | Identifier of the CICS LSR pool associated with the LSR pool name defined by VSAPBKPL. This parameter must be an integer value in the range 1 – 255. |
IMAHLQBS | "" | IMS high level qualifier for bootstrap data set. This value specifies that the IMS target system is configured for managed ACBs. When set, the Classic data server retrieves IMS DBD information from the IMS catalog and does not use ACBLIB and DBDLIB data sets. |
VSAPJRNL | N | Specifies whether the target server should be configured to include references to a VSAM look
aside file (DD CECVSMCT) and bookmark file (DD CECBKMRK) to allow the definition of subscriptions
that support journal replication. For more information, see Replication of
CICS journal log Streams. When VSAPJRNL=Y is specified, the following parameters are ignored:
|
Security parameters for the target server
VSAPSAFX | CACSX04 | SAFEXIT load module that enables security for the target server. A value of “ “ disables security for the server. This value defines the SAFEXIT configuration parameter of the operator, administration, and monitor services for the target server. For more information, see Securing a data server. |
For more information about the following parameter settings for the SAFEXIT, see Security
VSAPADMV | N | VALIDATE=Y/N parameter on the administration service for the SAFEXIT, when the exit is enabled. This value instructs the service to validate the access authority of a user by using the resource profile or the security class. |
VSAPADMR | " " | ADMPROF resource profile parameter on the administration service for the SAFEXIT. This value is valid when the exit is enabled and VALIDATE=Y. |
VSAPADMC | " " | ADMCLASS security class parameter on the administration service for the SAFEXIT. This value is valid when the exit is enabled and VALIDATE=Y. |
VSAPOPRV | N | VALIDATE=Y/N parameter on the operator service for the SAFEXIT when the exit is enabled. This value instructs the operator service to validate the access authority of a user by using the resource profile or the security class. |
