Discrepancies between source and target VSAM spheres: scenarios

In Data Replication for VSAM, the source and target VSAM spheres might not match exactly under certain conditions.

The conditions where Data Replication for VSAM might become out of synch are:

• Path changes that are logged by CICS VR are replicated by using the base cluster and might leave the target alternate index that is associated with the path out of synch if it does not specify the upgrade option.
• Recoverable UOW failures that updated an ESDS when no logical delete exit is configured to update the record during backout.
