TRUNCATEWTOMSGS
The TRUNCATEWTOMSGS configuration parameter controls how DISPLAY output that exceeds 253 lines is handled. Write to operator (WTO) messages allow for a maximum 255 lines.
Description
The default value for the TRUNCATEWTOMSGS configuration parameter is zero. By default, if a WTO message exceeds 253 lines, the 254th line has the word "TRUNCATE" and the rest of the output is not displayed to the console. Setting this parameter to 1 allows multiple WTOs to be generated until the entire report output is completed. In this case the 254th line has the word "CONTINUED" and the next WTO message continues the report output. WTOs are issued until the "END OF REPORT" line is reached.
