Apply exit: Return codes

The apply exit uses return codes to signal how the capture service should process a data change request.

Table 1 shows the return codes that are provided by the apply exit.

Table 1. Return codes for the apply exit
Return code	Description
0	Success. Normal processing continues in Data Replication for VSAM.
4	Success with information. Data Replication for VSAM should examine the exit codes and take actions that are indicated.
8	Error. Data Replication for VSAM should end replication for the subscription.
