Uninstalling the CDC Replication Engine for Event Server (UNIX and Linux®)

You can use CDC Replication commands to uninstall a CDC Replication engine.

Procedure

  1. Stop CDC Replication.
  2. At the command prompt, launch the configuration tool by issuing the following command from the <CDC Replication installation directory>/bin directory:

    ./dmconfigurets

  3. Enter 1 and press Enter to list the installed instances of CDC Replication. Record the names of all these instances. Uninstalling CDC Replication is simply deleting the CDC Replication instances.
  4. Enter 4 and press Enter to delete the initial instance of CDC Replication.
  5. Enter the instance name that you want to delete and press Enter.
  6. Repeat the above steps to delete all the CDC Replication instances you recorded previously.
  7. Delete the CDC Replication installation directory.
