After you have mapped tables for a subscription that uses
the CDC Replication Engine for InfoSphere®
DataStage® as
a target datastore, you can modify the following subscription properties:
- General
- Appears for the Flat File connection method for table mappings.
- Batch size thresholds
- Balances the need to get data applied to the target quickly against
the need to minimize resource utilization. You can set the batch size
threshold property to run IBM®
DataStage jobs
less frequently and process larger amounts of data. The threshold
values are applicable to both refresh and mirror operations.
- Large object truncation size for character and binary
data
- Affects the fixed record length used by an IBM
DataStage job
that processes the changed data. You should set this property to as
small a size as possible while still retaining enough of the data
from the large columns to meet your business needs.
- File Name Format
- Appears only for subscriptions using the Flat File connection
method for table mappings.
- Include the record count in the file name
- Enable this check box to include the record count in the file
name of the Flat File output for the IBM
DataStage job.
