Upgrading Access Server (Windows)

You can upgrade Access Server by installing a later version of the software over top of an existing 11.3.3 or later installation.

About this task

During an upgrade, you cannot change LDAP modes. This restriction includes moving from non-LDAP to LDAP modes, or from LDAP to non-LDAP modes. A new installation is required to change LDAP modes, but user credentials and access data cannot be migrated between different methods of management.
