Enabling multiuser configuration to be assigned automatically when adding new datastores

If you have, or you plan to add, a datastore that is accessed by more than one user, you can enable automatic multiuser configuration when adding datastores.

1. Verify the version of your datastore.

   Multiuser configuration is not available in the following circumstances:

   • Datastores that are CDC Replication version 6.3 Fix Pack 2 and earlier
   • Datastores for any version of the CDC Replication Engine for Db2® for z/OS®
   • Datastores for any version of the CDC Replication Engine for Db2 for i
2. Click Edit > Preferences.
3. Click Multiuser.
4. Enable the Automatically enable multiuser configuration when adding datastores check box.
5. Click Apply.
