Using an ESDS logical delete exit to handle RBA values in the OLDFILE that are not found in the NEWFILE
Using an ESDS logical delete exit gives you control over how the VSAM log delta utility logs an update for records that it determines should be represented as deleted in the target replica. ESDS does not allow physical deletion of records, but most ESDS have a concept of a logical delete indicator in the record that allows the record to be represented as inactive or logically deleted so it can be ignored by applications.
