Previewing tables in a subscription that match rule sets
After you have created rule sets for a subscription, you can use the Preview Tables Selected by Rules dialog box to see the tables that are in-scope for DDL replication. The dialog displays the names of all tables that match the criteria for all rule sets defined for this subscription.
About this task
The display is sorted by schema, with the tables within that schema that will be included for replication listed below it.
The total number of tables that are in-scope is displayed in the bottom left corner of the dialog.
The Status column indicates the current replication status for the tables. There are three possible values: Active, Parked or Refresh.
The Structure Only column indicates if the tables have been marked for structural refresh only (through the Replicate structural changes only option).
If no tables match the criteria, the schema symbol will display a yellow warning icon: (
Please note that the results displayed in the preview window indicate the tables that match the criteria at the moment in time that the dialog was opened. The list of tables is static and will not be updated. To refresh the display, you will need to close and reopen the dialog.
