Use this system parameter to enable Management Console and CDC Replication (installed
on the CDC Replication Source
System) to use the IP address or host name of the CDC Replication Data
Origin Server (where your source files reside).

- Set this parameter to one of the following
values:
- IP Address
- Enables Management Console
to use the IP address or host name of the CDC Replication Data
Origin Server. This lets CDC Replication (installed
on the CDC Replication Source
System) to retrieve source files from the CDC Replication Data
Origin Server. The value can be either the host name or the IP address
of the CDC Replication Data
Origin Server.

- Management Console uses
the IP address or host name of the CDC Replication Source
System. Setting this system parameter to *LOCAL disables CDC Replication from
performing replication activities with a remote journal.
